- No board-and-train. Your dog stays home and you learn alongside it.
- No group obedience classes.
- No virtual sessions. Phillip needs to see the dog in the room.
- No boarding, no day care, no dogs for sale.
If one of those is what you need, say so on the call. Phillip would rather send you to the right place than sell you the wrong one.
Straight answers
Before you book
Do you offer board-and-train, group classes or online training?
No. Lucky's K9 does one format: private, in-person sessions in your home or at the place your dog struggles. Board-and-train sends a dog away to learn with someone else in a different environment; the hard part, which is you and your dog at your front door, doesn't get trained. Group classes are fine for some dogs and wrong for a reactive one.
How many sessions will my dog need?
Honest answer: it depends on the dog, the problem and how much practice happens between visits. Phillip gives you a recommendation at the end of the assessment, and you book one session at a time. Nobody is asked to prepay a package.
What should I have ready for the first visit?
Your dog's vet and vaccination information (you'll upload it through the intake form), whatever equipment you currently use, a hungry dog and some of their favorite food. Don't tidy up the behavior before he arrives; he needs to see the real thing.
Where do sessions happen?
In your home first, then wherever the behavior shows up: your street, a quiet trailhead, a park, a patio. Phillip covers Mooresville, Statesville, Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville.
