Privacy notice
What we keep, and why.
Last updated 6 September 2026. Written in plain English on purpose. This is not legal advice and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer; see the note at the end.
Who this covers
Lucky's K9 Solutions, a dog-training business based in Mooresville, North Carolina, operated by Phillip Greene ("we", "Phillip"). Contact: phillip@luckysk9.com, (704) 840-5780.
What we collect
Through the call-back form: your name, phone number, town, a note about your dog and, if you tick it, whether you adopted recently.
Through the client intake questionnaire: your contact details, where sessions should happen, details about your dog (name, breed, age, weight, sex, neuter status, where it came from and when), health information about your dog (vet clinic, conditions, medications, vaccination status), behavior history including any bite or snap history, household details, current equipment, previous training, your goals and how you heard about us.
Through the document upload: photos or scans of veterinary and vaccination records, and adoption paperwork when you claim the free adopter assessment.
Through the website generally: anonymous usage statistics (pages viewed, rough device type, referring site) via a self-hosted analytics tool that does not set cookies and does not build a profile of you. We do not use advertising trackers.
Why
To decide whether and how we can help your dog, to keep everyone safe during sessions (this is why we ask about bite history and health), to check eligibility for the free adopter assessment, and to contact you about your sessions. We do not sell or rent this information, and we do not use it for marketing to anyone else.
Where it's stored
Form submissions and uploaded documents are stored in our client-management system (GoHighLevel), against your client record. Nothing you submit is stored on this website's server or in its code. Phillip may also keep session notes on paper or in a notes app on his phone.
How long
Active clients: for as long as you're a client and for two years after your last session, so that if you come back we have the history. Enquiries that don't become clients: twelve months. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time (see below), and we will, unless we have a specific reason to keep a record (for example, a bite incident during a session).
Who sees it
Phillip. If the business takes on staff, they'd see what they need for the sessions they run. With your permission we may contact your vet about your dog's health; we won't do that without asking you first.
Your choices
Ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: email phillip@luckysk9.com. You can also just text Phillip. We'll respond within a couple of weeks and usually much faster.
Children
This site and the forms are for adults. If a child has submitted information, tell us and we'll remove it.
Changes
If this notice changes in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and current clients get a text or email about it.
Note for the business: this notice was drafted as part of the website build and should be reviewed by a North Carolina attorney before the intake form goes live, together with the training services agreement.
